Change requestor experience (MSFT field, stakeholder, etc)
- Fill out Survey Intake Form: Requestor fills out the survey intake form, ensuring at least a two-week notice for completion.
- Ensure All Information is in the Work Item: Ensure that survey template files are attached and all necessary information is included in the work item.
- Completion by Survey Ops Team: The Survey Ops team completes the survey by the deadline.
- Work Item Closed: Sample survey links are shared in comments of the work item and the status is changed to "Closed"
- If Request is Completed Incorrectly (Optional): If survey request was completed incorrectly, requestor can fill out intake form as a "Edit/Update" for Valorem team to correct.
Survey Ops team member experience
- Survey work assignment: Go to the Survey Tracker (Microsoft credentials) and filter for surveys that have been assigned to you. If no survey work has been assigned to you, please filter for unassigned surveys and assign yourself to a survey.
- Complete Survey work: Open the OneMW ADO Ops Work item referenced in the Survey Tracker using your Microsoft credentials and ensure you are the assigned owner. Update the item status to "Active". Download and review the item's attached files, review the item details, and build or edit the survey in Survey Admin Tool > Configure (Microsoft or Valorem credentials) using the content provided by the requestor.
- Update ADO Ops Work Item: In the OneMW ADO Ops Work item, add a comment with sample URLs for all surveys that were updated, @ tag Bennett Williams in the comment, and assign the work item to Bennett Williams for QA.
- Corrections or adjustments: If any issues are found in QA that requires correction, the work item will be assigned back to you with guidance on the corrections and tagged as "Survey QA - Fix needed". Complete all adjustments, update tracker as needed, and assign back to SME. If no issues are found, SME will move item to Closed state, add "Survey QA - Passed" tag, and assign item back to team member for work tracking.
- Update Survey Tracker: Update all sections of the Survey Tracker with the details of your completed work.
Survey Ops Lead/SME experience
- Survey Intake Form submitted: Stakeholder submits the survey intake form. 2 ADO work items are created: MCI Survey Request parent item and Ops Work child item, both assigned to SME.
- Triage Survey Query: Review the survey query in ADO and add request details and content template links into the Survey Tracker. Assign Ops Work child item to a Survey Ops team member and indicate assignment in the Survey Tracker.
- Survey work completed: Survey Ops member completes the survey, assigns ADO work item back to SME in Closed state, and updates Survey Tracker.

QA survey work: SME reviews completed survey edit or build work and compares to original intake details.
- If any corrections or adjustments need to be made (either due to new clarification from requestor or survey agent miss), SME assigns item back to Survey Ops team member, adds "Survey QA - Fix needed" tag and specifies the corrections needed in the item's Discussion comments.
- If no issues are found, SME changes Ops Work item state to Closed, adds "Survey QA - Passed" tag, and assigns item back to Survey Ops team member.
- Update Survey Tracker: Review Survey Tracker to ensure all details are captured and work statuses are up to date.
